Addressing the conference, Deputy PM Truong Vinh Trong, who is also the vice head of the commission, called for more solidarity and proactiveness within the commission.

In 2010, the Office was considered highly efficient as it provided good advice for the Party’s Secretariat to review anti-corruption work during the 10^th tenure of the Party Central Committee. In addition, it helped praise individuals for deeds in the fight against corruption, and closely monitored 27 serious corruption cases.

For 2011, the Office set some priorities, including improving the quality of research and advice. It will also strengthen international cooperation in combating corruption and assess the implementation of the United Nations Convention against Corruption as well as the National Anti-Corruption Strategy until 2020.
