More than 22,000 tulips will be used to decorate Hoan Kiem Lake and Dinh Tien Hoang Street on the 1000th anniversary of Thang Long-Hanoi.

They are a present from Holland’s Minister of Agriculture, Nature and Food Quality, Gerda Verburg to celebrate Hanoi’s flower festival from December 20-January 3.

A pair of giant wooden clogs also from the Netherlands will be displayed at the centre of the Capital City during the same event.
