The International Boat Racing Festival 2011, titled “Boat, Sea, Sand and Sun”, is scheduled to take place in Mui Ne in the southern province of Binh Thuan from March 17-23.

The event will be attended by 20 sailing groups, including many strong rivals from Russia, the Netherlands, Sweden, the US, Italy, Greece, Spain and Japan.

This is a good opportunity for Southeast Asian nations to make thorough preparations for the upcoming 26^th SEA Games in Indonesia in November.

 The Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) has signed decisions to choose Haiyang (China) to host the 3^rd Asian Youth Games in 2012, Fuket (Thailand) to host the 4^th Asian Beach Games in 2014 and Nha Trang (VietNam) to host the 5^th Asian Beach Games in 2016.
