Da Nang’s Department of Tourism held a ceremony on December 6 to announce the launching of an IT app called “Danang FantastiCity” on mobile platforms to provide tourists with essential information on the city.

The app aims to offer the tourists the best possible experience when they visit.

With a cell phone, users can download the software free of charge to update or share local travel information through local people’s experience.

Using the travel app will make it much easier to access travel information on Da Nang and nearby areas, and tourists will be able to access information on new destinations, popular landscapes and restaurants.

Moreover, the information is taken from the official tourism database, which ensures convenient and exact planning for tourists.

The app has two versions, English and Vietnamese. The mobile app will be piloted from December 2016 to May 2017. Thereafter, the app will be updated.

It is expected to officially launch in 2018 and to develop Japanese and Chinese versions.__NDO
