Can Gio Resort has launched a new promotion for customers who will only pay for two nights when they stay for three.

The program is applied from Mondays to Thursdays and lasts until December 31.

Located around 50 kilometers from downtown HCMC, Can Gio, which has been recognized as one of the World’s Biosphere Reserves by UNESCO, is famous for its biodiverse system of mangrove forests, beach and typical cultural features.

It is regarded as a weekend getaway for Saigonese to indulge in fresh air, tranquility and nature.

Can Gio Eco-Tourism Company, subsidiary of Saigontourist, is the first firm to win an ISO 14001 certificate in Can Gio. The company is currently managing Monkey Island and the Can Gio Resort.

The island has about 1,000 monkeys that are normally very friendly and brave and over 70 crocodiles. Moreover, tourists can stop at Gio Rung Restaurant to relax and enjoy local specialties.

The highlight is taking a canoe cruise around the mangrove forest to explore the old Sac Forest military base, an excursion tourists will not forget.

The three-star Can Gio Resort with 80 rooms is nestled by the 30/4 Beach under the shade of a casuarina forest all year-round murmuring among the winds and waves. The resort is well equipped with bungalows, Carrot Restaurant, swimming pool, karaoke, massage, sauna, steam room, tennis court and meeting room.

The Carrot Restaurant with a capacity for 250 guests is dedicated to serve Western and Asian dishes, fresh seafood and specialties of Can Gio.

Relaxing on the beach and trekking to 25m Tang Bong Tower to take a panoramic view of Can Gio Forest are also good suggestions.
