The new restaurant serves southern specialties and Ha Long’s traditional cuisine such as ga quay lu – xoi chien phong (roasted chicken served with inflated fried glutinous rice), oc buou nuong mam tieu (apple snail grilled with fish sauce and pepper) along with traditional Ha Long foods, giving local and foreign customers an opportunity to experience part of the Vietnamese gastronomy.

The Saigon Restaurant has a capacity of 200 seats in a green, airy garden and a contingent of well-trained staff. With typical dishes of the Saigon style, the restaurant is suggested as an ideal place to serve groups of tourists, meetings, conferences and parties.

A subsidiary of Saigontourist Holding Company, the Saigon-Ha Long Hotel has won the national title “Top ten four-star hotel” for three consecutive years and it now expects to introduce some Vietnamese cuisine by the beautiful Ha Long Bay, a world natural heritage site which has been twice certified by UNESCO and recognized as one of the world’s seven new natural wonders.
