Sai Gon is widely known as culinary paradise with a lot of street food stalls and markets. Special foods from different regions of Vietnam can be found in every corner of the city. Sai Gon people usually go out late, come back home at midnight, that's why markets, stalls and shops will open until late-evening and even early morning.

1. Ben Thanh Night Market 

Located in city center, Ben Thanh Market is considered as street food sanctuary by young people here. Price here is quite high, but it always crowds and attracts a lot of people due to location, high-quality and various products. 

Food area stands in the west of Ben Thanh Market, provides differents dishes such as noodle soup, beef noodle, phở, snail, crab paste vermicelli soup (bún riêu) and so on. Western and Chinese cuisine can also be found in the market. 

Ben Thanh Night Market opens at 19h00 every night. 

2. Ba Chieu Market 

Shopping is the main purpose of visitors flocking to Ba Chieu Market. However, Xi Pho restaurant and Ba Chieu chicken sticky rice is the only and the best one to enjoy tasty dishes. Ba Chieu Market attracts a lot of people due to quality foods with reasonable price, and some featured dishes made from sea creature.

A convergence point of different culinary styles, Bui Vien never fails even the most challenging customers who might want to try both an Indian curry and a U.S. steak in the same night. There’s almost nothing you can’t find here. If the restaurants are a bit above your budget, the street still has a bunch of food stalls running along the pavement.
