Tourists in Vietnam travel can easily see Dao ethnice girls in the north province of Lao Cai.

Their costumes can be seen in five different colours but red is often the dominant hue.

A complete costume includes blouse, scarf, shin-guards, headscarf and jewellery. Dao women use batik to print patterns on their clothes.
