In order to create the beautiful looking and honor the beauty of Ha Long bay, ship owners and passenger transportation enterprises on Ha Long bay has been painting the ship hull white and fitting the sails brown.

50 travel ships have been painted white so far and it is expected to paint all 500 ships operating on the Bay before April 30, 2012. Following are some images of the painting progress.
