The Danang International Firework Competition (DIFC) was first held in the year of 2008 and soon became an annual event attracting the attention of many tourists all around the world.

The 5^th competition 2012 with the topic “The Colors of Danang” will take place on April 29 and 30. This event becomes more special when the competitors are the winners from the past 4 years, including: David Whysall International Fireworks from Canada (2008), Dragon Dancing Fireworks from China (2009), the Jacques Couturier Organization from France (2010), and Parente Fireworks from Italy (2011) and Danang city. It promises a much higher quality firework performance than the previous years.

The wonderful firework performance among winners this year will be preceded by many relative activities including: the second Firework performance on computer; Flower garlands and colored lanterns festival on Han River; Folk games, night markets; cuisine corner; Memorial Store; street music; dancing festival; Culture-Cusine-Tourism DIFC 2012 festival; and espically the “second Sparkling Vietnam character”

It is expected that the number of international tourists will increase much more than 4 years before with the opening up of the Danang International airport last December. Much more hotels have been constructed to serve them all.

This is a big chance for the tourists as well as television viewers to watch the colorful and marvelous firework performance by original and professional firework art in the world.
